A Journey by Boat

The following paragraph on “A Journey by Boat”

A journey by boat that I remember vividly was the one I made to the house of my broth-in-law. I enjoyed it from the beginning to the end. We had hired a boat, and all of us in the family were going together. We began our journey early in the morning from a place near our home. For a time we moved along the canal. The canal was narrow. There were trees and houses on both sides. Soon we reached the river Padma. It was autumn. The weather was pleasant. We enjoyed the sun is a clear, bright sky. The sights and scenes that we saw on both sides of the river were very charming. At about 3 p.m. we reached my sister’s house. The warm reception we had on our arrival was memorable. I still feel a sense of thrill when I remember the journey with its enchanting sights and scenes.
